T<\/span><\/span>he team\u00a0Gil Motor Sport<\/em> was born out of a passion in 2005. Jean- Christophe Ponsson<\/a> was the first to launch a private team at such a high level of competition. During its history, Gil Motor Sport<\/em> has lead top pilots to the most legendary circuits in the world.<\/p>\n

Indeed, top-pilots such as Supersport World Champions Fabien Foret and St\u00e9phane Chambon have been riding for Gil Motor Sport<\/em>. And also very talented pilots such as Maxime Berger and Arnaud Vincent, GP125 World Champion in 2002, and others from farther horizons: Pere Riba from Spain, Chris Walker from Great-Britain or Katsuaki Fujiwara from Japan…<\/div>\n

<\/div>\nGil Motor Sport<\/em> very quickly evolved from satellite team to official team for the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki.<\/p>\n

In 2009,\u00a0Gil Motor Sport<\/em> decides to invest in the future. St\u00e9phane Chambon, World Supersport Champion in 2009, will train the young pilot Christophe Ponsson, 13 years old at that time… In 2017, the season was spent in the Spanish RFME Superstock 1000 Championship<\/a>, after one season in the FIM Superstock 1000 World Cup in 2016<\/a> and a 2015 season in the World Superbike Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gil Motor Sport<\/em> multiplies the podiums in the Spanish RFME Superbike Championship in 2017<\/a> as well as in the French Superbike Championship<\/a> in 2018 and finishes Vice Champion of Spain in 2019 with its rider Christophe Ponsson.<\/p>\n

In 2021 and 2022, the Gil Motor Sport<\/em> team is committed alongside its rider Christophe Ponsson for two years in the World Superbike World Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For 2024, the Gil Motor Sport<\/em> team returns to competition after a year of absence, entered with rider Christophe Ponsson in the RFME Superbike Spanish Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n
